Brand Architecture and Strategic Repositioning: Transforming JAZ into JAZ Unlimited

BRAND BACKGROUND

For more than two decades, JAZ Hotel Group has been a trusted name in hospitality across Egypt and the broader MENA region. With over 50 properties spanning hotels, cruises, spas, and entertainment venues, JAZ has become synonymous with warmth, quality, and connection.

CHALLENGE

With a rapidly expanding range of properties, JAZ Hotel Group faced a critical branding issue: travellers lacked clarity about what to expect from each hotel property. The existing brand structure was fragmented, leading to inconsistent experiences and diluted guest perceptions.

JAZ needed to unify its voice and clearly communicate the differences within its portfolio, making it easier for guests to understand, choose, and connect with the brand.

A rebranded masterbrand and tiered ecosystem that clarifies its offerings while conveying the personality and promise of each tier within its portfolio.


EXECUTION

QUO collaborated closely with the JAZ team to lead a strategic rebrand guided by three key pillars: clarity, cohesion, and emotional connection. At the centre of this transformation was the creation of JAZ Unlimited. A masterbrand philosophy that repositions JAZ from a provider of accommodations to an enabler of boundless journeys. This bold new direction redefined how JAZ communicates and connects with its audience, transforming disjointed experiences into a cohesive and inspiring brand ecosystem.

As part of this vision, QUO developed a future-ready brand architecture that distinguished each product tier within the masterbrand with its own clear personality:

RESULT

The rebrand has fundamentally repositioned JAZ Hotel Group from a legacy provider into a modern, guest-first brand system. The new identity has:
