Hotel Indigo evokes the soul of the neighbourhood with quiet confidence and cultivated flair. Each hotel is a living narrative – its design, textures, and atmosphere reflecting the layered character of its surroundings. When InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) prepared to launch Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar in 2024, the property faced a distinct challenge: how to carve out a unique digital identity in an increasingly competitive luxury hospitality market. With prestigious resorts such as Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar and Alila Jabal Akhdar already established in the region, the hotel needed to go beyond conventional luxury to make a memorable impression. The task was to create a website that captured the spirit of the location while positioning the hotel as a destination in its own right.
To meet this challenge, QUO was commissioned to create an independent website for Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar that would effectively capture and convey the essence of the property. Designed to reflect both the natural majesty of its setting and the contemporary edge of the Hotel Indigo brand, the site was built to highlight the hotel’s luxury accommodation, distinctive and unique F&B outlets, and expansive spa facilities.
Working closely with the property team, we immersed ourselves in the ‘neighborhood story’, the basis of Hotel Indigo relationship to their locations, and the existing brand assets, to deliver a modern, intuitive, and visually engaging website experience that positions Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar as a flagship destination within the IHG portfolio.
The final website delivers a dynamic and vibrant blend of aesthetic appeal and functional design, earning praise from both the property team and IHG stakeholders. It successfully captures the spirit of Jabal Akhdar, offering users an intuitive, visually rich journey through the hotel’s features and offerings. The site has contributed to strong pre-opening interest, establishing Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar’s presence well before launch and reinforcing its status as a standout property in the region.
The website lays a strong foundation for Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar’s ongoing marketing and communication efforts. With its flexible architecture, immersive storytelling, and seamless user experience, it serves not only as a digital showcase but also as a scalable platform for future campaigns, seasonal promotions, and content updates.
