BRAND BACKGROUND

Launched in 2019 by The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), amã Stays & Trails is a premium homestay brand that offers a collection of private villas, bungalows, and heritage homes across India. Continuing TAJ’s legacy of timeless hospitality, amã Stays & Trails offers travellers immersive, authentic experiences that blend luxury and nature with local culture.

CHALLENGE

After successfully reimagining the TAJ Hotels website, QUO was invited to apply the same creative precision and strategic insight to amã Stays & Trails’ digital journey. In an increasingly competitive market, optimising the digital journey for the user was essential in establishing amã Stays & Trails as an industry leader and the gold standard for boutique and heritage-driven hospitality.

While third-party booking platforms and OTAs optimise for quick decisions and transactions, booking a storied stay at amã Stays & Trails isn’t a snap judgment.

IDEA

Partnering with IHCL, QUO set out to create an optimised platform that delivers the clarity, speed and usability today’s digitally savvy travellers expect – while going further to reintroduce the emotional storytelling often stripped from modern booking platforms. The amã Stays & Trails platform stands apart, infusing warmth, intimacy and authenticity into every interaction, and reflecting the brand’s core values and the unique character of each storied bungalow.

In a digital space where stories often lose out to function and usability, our approach was to simplify the journey while deepening the experience. The result is a platform that invites users in with elegance, guides them intuitively, and immediately reflects the distinct personality of each bungalow.
