Job Summary

The Digital Account Manager role within QUO is primarily responsible for the management of relationships with clients and the delivery of new and existing digital projects, on time and budget. As the principal point of contact, you will understand the client’ digital business needs, helping them specify requirements and timelines.

The Digital Account Manager also ensures the smooth production of projects and campaigns – from briefing web designers and marketing specialists, to managing budgets, in-house team members and 3rd party suppliers. You will be expected to collaborate on digital marketing and advertising campaign plans and, together with the Project Managers, deliver websites and the full range of online marketing tactics.

You will bring practical experience of of both digital marketing and website development and, ideally, experience within the hospitality industry, and will actively contribute to ongoing product development, business strategy and new business development.

We are looking for a seasoned financial/accounting/tax veteran to join and lead our vibrant accounting team covering financial, accounting, and risk operations of the QUO Group. A mature, open, and progressive mind with proven experience in the field is most welcome.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Take full responsibility on accounting and financial operations of QUO Bangkok and other companies under the QUO Group, including review of journal entries, account reconciliation, analysis of financial results, quality control, and internal control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing process, account reconciliation, and account consolidation in a timely manner.
  • Manage and oversee all accounting entries to be settled and collected timely, correctly, and most effectively, specifically including but not limited to account payables, account receivables, cash receipts, payrolls, dividends, utilities, fixed asset activities, and debt activities.
  • Construct internal financial reporting on profitability, liquidity, and cost/revenue analysis for each business units.
  • Construct financial budgeting and necessary forecasting to assist management discussion.
  • Support and co-ordinate with internal and external parties including other departments, financial institutions, authorities, and advisors on accounting dealings, financial needs, and tax matters.
  • Liaise and deal with auditors to prepare audited financial statements.
  • Co-ordinate with Revenue Department officers, relevant regulators, and advisors on necessary tax audit, payment, and return and manage internal tax dealings.
  • Supervise accounting team and work as a team player to ensure all accounting operations, taxation, and financial reports are smoothly run with accuracy meeting accounting standards and relevant laws.
  • Ensure all local statutory and regulatory requirements are duly complied.
  • Ensure all internal operational controls are in-place and well implemented.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATION

  • Proven trusted experience as accounting manager, auditor, or finance manager.
  • Proven knowledge of book-keeping and relevant accounting principles, practices, standards, and laws.
  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance.
  • Ability to deal with accounting figures, analyse accounting entries, and provide financial reports with high attention to detail and accuracy in an easily digested and presentable manner.
  • Ability to work within a team with a mature mindset, supervise colleagues to develop the team’s capabilities regarding financial and risk areas, liaise with the company’s departmental matrix, and proactively provide financial/accounting/tax recommendation to the management team.

Full Stack Wordpress Developer

The Full Stack WordPress developer works with frontend and backend to create compelling websites in the Wordpress CMS. This covers the creation of specific client wordpress themes from scratch as well as modifying barebones Wordpress frameworks, working with designers to recreate designs in HTML and / or page builders, testing, deploying and monitoring sites. The developer will also be required to create and customise Wordpress plugins and applications. In addition to advanced Wordpress developer skills, the candidate will have the full range of traditional developer skills on the LAMP stack as well as HTML5, CSS, JS, etc.

Account Manager (Client Service Manager)

Job Summary & Description

 The Account Manager’s main responsibilities are to maintain and develop client relationships – existing and new – with a strategic focus, lead their team in handling client relationships and projects successfully, and to meet or exceed revenue goals.

 The Account Manager also provides project oversight to, and works collaboratively with, all internal teams such as Strategy and Creative to ensure that client objectives are met – or exceeded.

 Job Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop intimate knowledge of client brands and businesses by keeping informed of their business initiatives, industry trends, competition and the market landscape in order to add strategic value to the relationship and to identify opportunities for delivering more services.

  • Take an active leadership role in growing the volume and scope of work we deliver to clients – existing and new. More specifically, the Client Manager strives to meet or exceed the business development revenue goals set for them, by actively up-selling and cross-selling QUO services.

  • Build long-term relationships with clients by, for example, meeting with them on a regular basis to discuss branding and marketing plans, and QUO's performance.

  • Map clients’ organizations in order to establish and build relationships across their organization, and maintain up-to-date client records including background, property facts, contact details, transaction history, etc.

  • Collaborate with Accounting Dept. to ensure that client billing information is correctly recorded and to ensure that the billing and collection process is timely. Maintain and update client records e.g. business pipeline for Accounting purposes as required. 

  • Provide leadership and guidance to client service team members via meetings on a regular basis to provide mentoring and direction. Provide real-time as well as annual performance feedback.

  • Write Creative Briefs to establish strategic and tactical objectives of clients, and also to set parameters with clients about their projects. 

  • Work collaboratively with the Creative team to ensure that creative work meets the client’s strategic objectives. 

  • Work collaboratively with the Concept and Strategy teams, who are tasked with deliverables and schedules.

  • Actively participate in creative reviews at critical stages e.g. midpoint and final, to ensure work will meet or exceed client expectations.

  • Take a leading position during creative presentations, along with Creative team, to facilitate the client approval process.

  • Liaison closely between clients and internal teams during the lifetime of projects.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • 3-10 years’ experience in relevant senior positions such as advertising, account services and/or marketing management at respected agencies for substantial corporate clients, and/or at start-ups.

  • Strong sales and presentation skills, able to articulate branding, marketing and creative strategies clearly and convincingly.

  • Excellent English (spoken, written)

  • Project oversight expertise: Experience delivering integrated branding/marketing programs to large and sophisticated marketing organizations, as well as to smaller entrepreneurial clients.

  • Able to manage, mentor, inspire and organize the people reporting to them to help them achieve objectives as well as create a supportive work environment leading to their professional growth.

  • Must have (at least) generalist experience in marketing services and processes e.g. developing brand strategies, retail marketing programs, trade shows and exhibitions, interactive projects, brand identity systems, collateral design.

The Business Development Manager’s main responsibilities are to develop and explore opportunities for new and existing clients.   • Attend business development/new client meetings with the CEO and/or senior members of the QUO team

  • Analyst and propose potential client leads by country and industry

  • Identify relevant third-party partners (business feeder/referral)

  • Work closely with the Content and Strategy teams to ensure QUO’s marketing efforts are reaching new/potential leads with relevant and timely content

  • Write project briefs after kick-off meeting with new leads to establish strategic and tactical objectives of clients, set clear parameters with clients about their projects and adequately brief other departments. 

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years experience in a business development, sales, or client service role (note: some of this experience must have been in Thailand and/or wider Asia region)

  • Prior experience in an advertising, marketing or branding agency

  • In-depth knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry

  • Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional PowerPoint skills

  • Native English speaker (written and spoken); fluency in Thai a plus
